NEW SPORT

Basketball is in full swing. Colson's team has been practicing for a few weeks taking a short break at Christmas. At the first practice we were so excited to see that the four (baseball) Rebels that are playing basketball are all on the same team. They should gel well. Colson is again a beast at defense and more accurate at 3 points than anyone else. They've played their first two games so far and have won! These boys are athletes in any sport!

Hudson had spent the night with us the night before because frankly we missed him. We miss Cam too but he doesn't like his Aunt Sesame. And since Aunt Sesame is the primary caregiver in the Schubert family I didn't think it was a good idea to have him spend the night. Hudson told me the night before that he thinks it would be a great idea if I made pancakes cuz he loves pancakes. So of course I did. And of course when we walked into the game and he saw the snack bar he said "I'm actually pretty hungry". Really??? I just made you pancakes! The clothes he has on are his PJs but he told mere didn't wear PJs so I didn't make him wear them at night. Then when he got up Saturday I laid out his jeans and he saw the red pants and said "I'd really like to just wear my comfy pants". And that's what Aunt's do.... Give into all requests that are not dangerous to your health.
