Look at these dugouts!

5 hours later they resumed the game and we ended up shutting them down and then scoring 4 runs to win the game. Talk about a nailbiter!
I think it's obvious by the pants that he didn't sit the bench.
That was Saturday. And our win put us to play in the semi finals on Sunday. And that's when we lost to the New Orleans team. On our way home he was in extreme pain because his armpit was raw. And being the dramatic child he is, you would have thought it was a flesh eating disease attacking him.
We spent a couple days near Gulf Shores, Alabama with just our family PRIOR to joining the team in Pensacola for the tournament. Colson had a GRAND time fishing and to say he was obsessed with fishing at our resort in Alabama is an understatement.
I caught the most fish on the first day. I kept score with QUANTITY over QUALITY....all the ones I caught were about this big.
It was a beautiful resort and the grounds were so pretty
We even hit a few balls at the driving range at the resort. Luckily they didn't have a dress code. I will never wonder where Colson gets his poor clothes matching skills. Camo and blue plaid, he should be in a fashion magazine.
We had a lot of fun in Florida too playing at the beach and playing in the pool. Of course we love our Rebel family and our favorite....the Trotter's.
The tournament had a little pin trading and parade to show off these adorable boys!
We had a delicious dinner one night and finally captured a family picture....albeit not very good!
The most exciting thing about our trip for me AND the kids was parasailing! What made it even more fun was that we did it with Kandy and her kids and another family from our Rebels team. The kids and I went first. There were two scary parts....one was the initial take off when you stand on the back of the boat and all of a sudden fly backwards into the sky. The other part that was nerve racking was when the wind would flutter. I think that only made me nervous because I was told (by my dear husband) that someone had died the week before when a freak windstorm came through and catapulted the person to death. It was still exhilerating and didn't seem near as high up when you are in the air looking down as when you are on the ground looking up. The super fun part for the kids was that they got to go twice! Karson and Kandon wouldn't go with Kandy so my kids got to be hers! She couldn't go by herself because she doesn't weigh enough (all that cross fit-ha) and there was no way we were talking Karson into doing it....we almost had Kandon though.
While they were up in the air, I had to take care of sweet Karly!
And after internally pouting that she had to watch baseball (and lots of it) on her vacation, she finally resorted to what she knew. She had these girls in the palm of her hand as she put on a show for them and then had them all stunting her. She wasn't too confident in her bases though and decided that the tree may serve as a great front spot!
It was a great week! And it was fun watching from the stands!
