FLAG BOY

Colson has a new friend at school, Cole. One way to gain friends as the new kid is to be the flag boy at the Willis High School games and let your friends come help you. Talk about getting a big head...Colson thought he was HOT STUFF!!! 

His new friend has been in Willis since 1st grade and actually went to Kindergarten at PDS with Colson. His parents are former Willis grads and graduated with Wes. His mom is the School Board President....and that's how he gets to be flag boy! Cole has gone to a different Elementary until this year which is why they have only recently been reunited. 

This was homecoming when it was pouring down rain but there was no way I was going to get to go home because Colson was out on the field with the big boys and Calli was under the stands chatting away with her friends. 

After this game, the boys even jumped in line behind all the football players to  shake hands with the other team. It was all I could do to not run on the field when they then tried to huddle in the team circle to listen to the coach. That didn't last long....I'm sure they realized they might be pushing their privileges.

This was another game when Cole invited Colson down to help him. Again....he thought he was a big deal.
