It's been a long time since I've been to a wedding....and especially one that I was really excited about. There are a lot of weddings where I'm happy for the couple but since I'm so old now, there are only a few where I really know the couple well enough to get excited. I'm sure once my kids friends start getting married, the days when I really enjoy weddings will come back.
Katlin and Claire's wedding was beautiful and fun. Have you ever seen a more gorgeous bride? The kids had fun, especially Colson, since this was his best friend Karson's uncle that was getting married. Katlin has coached the boys basketball teams and taken the two of them on adventures together. He has always treated Colson like his own nephew....and really his own kid. Colson adores him. Wes and Katlin have become friends over the years and have been roping together and play golf together.
And of course Wes and I love Katlin and his whole family INCLUDING his new bride! She's as sweet as can be! So this was a fun night!
