THE WORST BASEBALL I'VE EVER SEEN

The Rebels played in a World Series in RoundRock earlier this month and looked like a Little League team from like a 1A district. They were absolutely awful! I guess there were some fun moments on the trip but honestly I think everyone wishes they had just stayed home for the week and even spending $1 was too much.

Calli came on the trip since she was still recovering from her surgery so her and I went into Austin one day and went through some funky shops and saw the UT campus.

We found the infamous I love you so much wall. I expected it to be this huge focal point in Austin but really it was a painted wall on the side of a taco "stand".

Wes and Colson went up Saturday and Calli and I didn't make it until Monday. Saturday they went to a Dell Diamond baseball game and according to Wes, they too looked like Little Leaguers. Our boys got to go out on the field which was pretty cool for them.

We played 5 games over 3 days and only won 1….by 1 point. On a good note, Colson was the only consistent player. He hit great, fielded great and kept a great attitude. Usually in those situations, he does not come through for the team. Trying to find some positive….that was it :)
