Here is the conversation that my friend Debbie (who also teaches at Colson's school) had with two of the girls in Colson's class this afternoon.
Girls: Mrs. Debbie, does your daughter have a boyfriend?
Debbie: Yes. Do you have a boyfriend?
Girls: NOOOO! THAT'S GROSS!!!! (Can you hear it being said with all the gusto and giggles that little 6 year old girls have?)
Debbie: What about Landon? Are you sure he's not your boyfriend?
Girls: NOOOOO!!!! NOOOO WAY!!!!
Debbie: What about Colson?
Girls: OH NO WAY! NO, NO!!! HE SCRATCHES HIS ARMPITS.
Really girls, you are so observant. So glad you don't notice all the other scratching and picking that goes on in an average day...he is a boy you know?
