IT'S APRIL PEOPLE!

Seriously this is crazy!! It's already April. Where do the days go.....since it's April, I guess I should do a little write up on happenings from February! That's a great idea I know! February was Colson's field trip. I've said it before....I STRONGLY DISLIKE FIELD TRIPS. I don't like being in charge of other peoples kids and doing what the whole group has to do. But I asked Colson if he wanted me to go (I ask every year and close my eyes and try to telepathically plant the word NO in their head) and of course the answer was "YES!".

So I went and thankfully unlike the 6th grade field trip, I DID NOT HAVE TO RIDE THE BUS. We went to the Children's Museum and after I got down there I realized I had never been to the Children's Museum. I also realized that the Children's Museum is quite fun....even when you are in charge of other peoples kids and doing what the whole group is doing. When Calli was in 2nd grade I had to back out of this field trip on the day of because Colson came down with some kind of virus.

We first made a stop at Herman Park to have lunch and the boys played a little football.

Then we headed over to the museum. We played restaraunt, casting for fish, grocery store and of course a little water fun!

Everyone was well behaved and it was a great day! Maybe I'll look more forward to next years field trip. Maybe in my old age I'm actually liking field trips. I'm sure by the time Colson doesn't take field trips any more I'll be begging to go on one. Isn't that what they say happens in everything? I think "they" are telling fibs.
