HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

My kids have the absolute best man they can call Dad. Wes supplies for them in the areas I am deficient. He has taught Colson everything he knows in baseball and he's a superstar! He's also taught him how to shoot a gun, a bow, ride a 4 wheeler, ride a horse and spends so much time just hanging out with him. Sometimes it's doing all the things just mentioned and other times it's sitting on the couch watching a good Western or National Geographic special. He is Calli's biggest cheerleader and her rock. So attentive to her emotional needs. Love it!

And my dad is one of a kind too! I had a great childhood growing up as he coached any sport I was in, provided for our every physical need, helped me with Math and called me out (lovingly) when I was a brat. He's still out of town on work right now so I just gave him a ring on the phone to say Happy Father's Day.

We celebrated Father's Day by doing the ole divide and conquer. We did have a Father's Day lunch after church with all of us in one place.

Then Calli and I headed off to Pine Cove with the Cecils and Wes, Colson and Grandpa Schubert headed up to our land in Huntsville to play and check on the status of the barn we are building on it. Wes admitted it was a PERFECT day! He was so sincere when he said he had the best day ever with his dad and Colson. THAT makes me happy!

While they were having fun, I was dropping Calli off with her BFF Carson for a week at Pine Cove. 7 days...we pick them up Saturday. Her and Carson were so excited! I can't wait to hear about all the fun they had and more importantly how they were affected Spiritually.
