EASTER

So I know that it's been 6 weeks since we celebrated our Risen Savior but I wanted to share some pictures from the day. The kids look so grown up as we headed off to church. And they were actually very sweet and cooperative in taking some pictures.

As I loaded these up I had flashbacks to Easter Sunday (or any holiday at our house for that matter) and the ever dreaded picture snapping. My sister as a young gal was not very photogenic. I'm not exagerating when I say that we would spend an hour trying to get a good picture of us and our sessions ALWAYS ended in tears.....or at least that's how I remember it. It would start out nice and calm but my mom would ask Christina to smile nicely and the more she pestered about getting that picture perfect smile, the more my sister couldn't perform. And the more she couldn't perform the more tears she shed.

Back to the present day....after church and some time at home we went over to Christina's for dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. Calli and Colson were really into it....because there was money planted in their eggs. Hudson and Cam only lasted a little while. I had to keep telling Colson to not get Hudson's eggs. If they were laying in the wide open spaces where you would step on them as you walked through the grass, they are probably not the ones hidden for a 9 year old.....and they probably had cheerios in them!

The day before we had been to a Easter Egg hunt as part of a birthday party. Hudson ONLY wanted blue eggs. He was very emphatic about it! Cute!

Look at these two handsome, very serious boys!
