VIVA LAS VEGAS

Wes and I headed to Vegas for 4 days in early December and what a nice break that was. Vegas is one of those places where there is always something going on. We went to watch the NFR…National Finals Rodeo and had tickets to 3 nights. We actually had a friend that made the finals and was roping in it….kinda cool. We sold our tickets one night and instead went to a Cirque De Sol….Mystere. Wow! That was impressive! Massive skill, athleticism. I have no idea what the “story line” was nor did I try and figure it out. Besides the random 300 pound 40 year old man that kept coming out dressed as a baby in diapers and a bottle, it was amazing....again, you don't try and figure the story lines out in these shows. It was really good!

I was only down $35 in the gambling hole. Pretty good huh? Well it's not so good considering I only gambled $35. Wes put $25 on black twice and won both times so we made a whopping $50 on Roulette. We stayed at the MGM which was my LEAST favorite place to stay. This is like our 4th time to Vegas and were trying to stay somewhere different every year but I did not like the MGM.

John and Brooke (who was 4 mos pregnant) went with us so we had a great time. I even found the Michael Jackson shrine and had some flashbacks of my childhood when I went with my friend Wendy to the MJ concert by RV.
