I'M BACK :)

Recently I was looking back at some of my blog books and immediately felt remorse that I had stopped blogging 2 years ago. We had some great memories that I feel like might be forgotten since I don't have the pictures to reflect on….my memory is really bad like that.

So….I'm starting back. I'm going to play catch up for 2017 and blog about all the great things that have happened over the last 5 months.

Let's start with school cheer UIL competition. These girls loaded up the bus and headed from the small town of WILLIS to the "BIG D"…. or Ft. Worth.

In between routines Calli took naps and in true Calli form had to smother whoever is napping with her.

They did great on the 3 separate routines on Day 1 and made it to the finals for the top 20 teams. They scored REALLY LOW on the dance so they redid it for Day 2. They performed the new routine on Day 2 and I didn't think looked as good. They ended up getting 19th which is disappointing. But it was a great achievement to get to the top 20.

Who doesn't want to celebrate their adult birthday with 30 teenage cheerleaders. They love her and I was glad we could celebrate her in a small way.

The final day they had a little fun at the Ft Worth zoo. Calli loves animals so this was perfect fun for her.
