THE "H" WORD

For those of you who don't read my sister's blog, I've perfomed the old cut and paste move on this this post she made of a conversation her and Calli had the other day. And because I print my blog, I wanted it documented for me as well....

Christina writes....
This is a conversation between me & Calli, my nine year old niece from this weekend:

Calli: Jesse McCartney is soooooooo cute! I mean literally. He is soooooooo cute! I won't even say the "h" word.

Me: The "h" word?

Calli: Ok, I'll go ahead and say it....Jesse McCartney is Hot!!(I don't think I even knew what hot meant when I was 9 - if I had been her friend, I probably would have suggested that he put on some deodorant or carry around a fan if he's that hot all the time!)

Me: Did he used to be a Backstreet Boy?
(Ok, I admit - I am not 100% brushed up on my useless boy band trivia, since I am apparently confusing the McCartney dynasty with the Carter dynsaty...)

Calli: Huh?? What's a Backstreet Boy?

Me: They were one of the "cool" bands when I was a little older than you(and yes, I realize cool is an extremely loose term!)

Calli: I don't think so...Jesse's not old.

Ouch!!

Too funny! Well relay got cancelled this weekend which was a bummer but they have rescheduled it for mid May. Hopefully we can make our schedules work for that!
