STARVED FOR ATTENTION?

Early last week, the kids and I ventured into the Doctors office. Calli frequently gets UTI's and I have gotton really good at detecting them since there are no physical pain symptoms for her to complain about. So, I knew she had one, dropped off a urine sample that morning and they asked that I make an appointment (mom was right!) to come back in and see the Doc. Calli got out of school early that day so when I picked her up, our fun activity was....the Doctor's office :)

My kids thoroughly enjoy going though. Unless of course there is a shot involved. But they love to go see Dr. Calvin and if they are both there together they like to fight for his attention. I really have no control as they do crazy stuff to try and get him to look at them instead of talk to me. Luckily it's all in good fun and nothing destructive (I can't always say that).

So as they were getting crazy BEFORE he came in I asked them to calm down in my lecture like tone. Calli immediatly pops into her yoga pose and says "hummmmm. I'm observing (not absorbing) positive energy". Colson immediatly copies the pose and says "hmmmm. I'm observing....pop tarts"
