I hope you stopped this past weekend and were able to take in what Christ has done for you and I. God gave us his perfect son to die on the cross for our sins so that we wouldn't have to pay that penalty. While we recognized his brutal death on Friday night, we celebrated that HE AROSE from the dead three days later on Sunday and He's alive! If you can't see God's work in your life as you look around, you aren't looking hard enough! 
We had a nice weekend and besides the little shower Sunday morning, the weather was beautiful! The kids were at Grammie's house on Thursday night and most of the day Friday because in Colson's words "The most wonderful thing happened? Grammie's house is done" She's been remodeling for the past several months and the kids haven't had any good Grammie time. Saturday Wes took the kids to see Donkey roping and they got to ride some horses too which is fun for them. Sunday we celebrated our Risen Savior at church. The kids did a special song and of course I didn't get a picture because I was helping lead them. My brain never remembers things all at the same time...Ugh! 
After church the kids and I decorated Easter eggs (better late than never huh?) and got ready for all of the family that came over that evening. We had dinner and two Easter egg hunts. It was fun and relaxing while it lasted! We just missed Grandpa Murdock who was out of town for work...it just wasn't the same without him!
