IT'S A BIG ONE!

One of the many things that Colson likes to do is go fishing with his Daddy. Up until now, he really preferred the pond at the end of the road as opposed to the boat. You see the pond guaranteed a catch. And when you got bored with fishing, there was plenty of other stuff to do like feed the ducks, throw rocks at the ducks (when they wouldn't eat the bread), poke sticks at the bullfrogs, climb trees, well just a lot of stuff that can't be done while on a floating device surrounded by water.
But this year, he's moved on and when fishing in the boat is the activity for the day/evening, he's all game! A couple of weeks ago Wes took him out one evening while Calli and I were involved with one of her activities I'm sure. How someone can fall asleep on a boat ride where you're going 70 miles an hour across the lake, bouncing at every wave, wind blowing in your face, bugs trying to score a goal in your mouth is beyond me. But this little man manages to do it. So when Wes pulled up to the first stop, you can see Colson was ready to fish...or not!
But it didn't take long before this fish was caught and somehow a little shut eye was not in the cards.
