As part of the first week of school homework, Calli's Science teacher had them write and draw out 8 different SCIENCE related questions that they wondered about onto an 11x17 sheet of manilla paper. Calli stuck to the assignment and questioned things like Why are frogs bumpy? Why are the stars so bright? Why flowers are different colors? etc. Her teacher told her that throughout the year she would answer these Scientific questions.
A couple of weeks ago as I was waiting in the hallway, I started reading what other kids "wondered" about as I studied the assignments that were hung along the hallway. I'm thinking Mrs. Rockwell may have a hard time answering some of these "scientific" questions.....
I WONDER.....
Who thought of school?
Why my sister is so weird?
Why did we go to war?
If I can be President?
Why is school so long?
If that is my toy?
Why dolls don't talk?
and my all time favorite.....I WONDER HOW MY XBOX 360 GOT BROKEN.
I wish I could have read them all because I am sure there were many others that would have made me giggle.
