LOSER! Calli lost the Presidential election yesterday....boo! But that's okay God has other things in store for her. There were 3 girls and 1 boy running. The boy won. But you know had it just been Calli and Falcon (the boy) running...I still think it would have been very close. Calli and Falcon are friends so it's great for him! He's a cute and sweet kid! So congratulations Falcon!!!! Too bad he doesn't read the blog. Calli was a little upset and in Calli style there were tears but there were also tears today when she couldn't find her baseball glove that she maybe uses twice a year so I expected the tears. She got over it fairly quickly. I let her be sad for a little while as I talked her through the other cool stuff she could do and the "we don't win them all" speech. All while I was on a conference call for work (on mute of course). I'm a great multi-tasker!
Tonight she told me that she was nominated by her other NHS (National Honor Society) peers for Secretary but she voted for the other girl that was nominated. It's her friend Macy and Calli thought she would be bettere at the job than her. I thought that was very sweet and humbling of her. Not sure who won that but in my mind Calli won...but then again, I'm her mom!
