We very sadly ended our season with this really awesome team…the Green Berets, Small Junior level 4. A small mishap (like a girl freaking out and just standing there) caused them to not place as high as they would have liked at NCA but hey we moved on. Their end of the year party was held at painting with a twist before their last practice for the year….which was really just a play practice because all the competitions were over.
I thought they turned out cute. Here's Kendall and Calli's.
And here's Calli with her two favorite flyers who are both 10 and very tiny. She had to squat so she didn't feel like a giant with them. Cali and Lainey.
I was most proud of Calli this year for her leadership and encouraging skills. The girls on her team looked up to her. I would say that Lainey and the flyer on her other team (Majors) almost idolized her in a good way. They would send her very sweet texts 2 or 3 times a week telling her how much they loved her and appreciated her belief in them etc. I love to see that leadership skill develop in her and pray it continues. She can be a bright light for so many girls.
