And no I don't mean Abraham silly....sweet little, tiny little, cuddle him up little BABY Lincoln Piotrowski was born 2 weeks ago from tomorrow, on September 29th. Lincoln is the 3rd son (my three sons) to my very best friend from the 6th grade Robyn. I had planned on spending the day up at the hospital waiting with great anticipation but when I talked to Robyn that morning she said everyone was saying it was going to be a long day. She was induced....ahhhh I love that word. Something about the whole I'm ready, bag packed, no rush in the middle of the night kind of delivery that rubs me the right way. I know, I know...only if the baby is healthy! But this mama is a planner and I like inductions! Anyways, I decided to make a quick stop by the hospital mid morning to check in on her and lo and behold they had just called the Dr. That baby was ready!!
And here he is.....
Mama fine....check!
Everyone sleep deprived...check!
Ahhhh this too shall pass! It's amazing how your perspective changes when it's not your first (and when it's not yours)!
I know I've been out of touch for a while and unlike my sister...I have a much better story to tell. Maybe I'll tell it tomorrow.
