So tonight our last baseball game was cancelled do to a forfeit by the other team. I realize I never mentioned that we even started our baseball Fall season but just know that we played 8 games across 4 weeks with 2 weeks of practice before our first game, so it was quick and sweet! Colson again became obsessed with the game and soaked up every ounce of teaching the coaches could give him. They had him on second base most of the games and really worked with him on understanding the game....where to throw the ball in different situations, when to tag a runner, when to be the cut off man...he loved it! His catching skills improved greatly and he's still got a great swing. The problem in this age bracket (he moved up) is that the coach has to throw a good pitch for him to hit at. I joked that the pitching coach needed his own day of practice....I know it's not as easy as it looks and frankly it doesn't even look easy.
So I only took pictures at one game and it happened to be the game Hudson was at so I never really even took any good ones of Colson. But look at these cute ones of Hudson! We LOVE this boy!
