Saturday there was a fundraiser for Danielle in Willis. There was a live and silent auction, food, carnival type games for the kids, fun run...it was awesome! They hoped to raise $50,000 and I feel certain they did! It was a great show of support by the community and the beautiful smile on Danielle's face brought tears (yes tears!) to my eyes. She looked great! Even though her chemo pill is making her nauseous,not wanting to eat, neck pain, pains in her feet....and on and on....she looked strong. The past few times I've seen her she looked weak and so it was great to see her in this way. I'm sure part of it was the excitement and fun that she was having. I love her spunky attitude by wanting to color her hair pink...can you see it in the picture? Calli and Carson didn't want to miss this event at all and were glad to hang out with Danielle for a little while!
