If you ever get the urge to break into my house at night you might want to stay out of Colson's room. He just may have a booby trap set up to catch you!

Every night Colson cannot go to bed without Jax. It's his security blanket because I've told you how CHICKEN he is!!!! And every night we have to wait until he goes to sleep before I can get Jax out and put him in his room for the night. I'm much better at getting Jax out of Colson's bed. I actually have no trouble getting Jax out...even when Colson has the death hold on him. Wes just sucks at it! Almost EVERY time he tries to get Jax out, he wakes Colson up. Last night was one of those nights. I wasn't feeling good because I had an allergy attack earlier that day so Wes put Jax in his room and I just told Colson to go to bed. I gave him the big pep talk that I knew he could fall asleep, he would be fine, helped him remember his Bible verses about fear and sent him on his way..... FIVE.MORE.TIMES. Every time he got out of bed he'd say "I just can't fall asleep". Finally Wes said come snuggle with me for a minute. And within 60 seconds the kid was asleep. This morning I went in his room and found the boobie trap. He had set this up after we had put Jax up. He must be scared someones going to come in at night. Again, I won't claim this trait. Calli and I are scared of NOTHING! But guess who is? Here's a hint. His name starts with a W and ends in ES.
