So lucky for me and my tear ducts, we closed out the year with a Pre-K and Kindergarten pool party at the YMCA fun pool. So our last day was spent sweating in the hot sun instead of reminiscing in the hallways. As you can see from these pictures the kids had a ball....I mean wouldn't you? Although Colson didn't want to have anything to do with a camera and smiling with his eyes I did manage to catch a few where his teeth were showing or at least he had a pleasant look on his face. He had a big playoff game that night and he asked to leave the party 30 minutes before it was over because he "really felt like he should go home and get some rest for the game." So you give the kid a diploma and he thinks he's ready to be a big boy. I would have given him a diploma a long time ago had I known that!
