Calli has 2 friends in her class that are boyfriend/girlfriend. It's quite comical at this age and I really don't make a fuss about it. I really don't know what it means in their mind either because they don't sit together at lunch, nor do they play together at recess (I've witnessed it). When I ask Calli what it means she says it's just a game. I think the pair formed because their moms are good friends....isn't that a natural progression....our moms are friends, maybe we should go out? There is no thought process at age 10.
Anyways, she came home the other day and said that Falcon wanted to break up but they did rock/paper/scissors and Michaels won so they couldn't break up. I burst into a belly laugh. That really cracked me up. So Falcon asked Calli (aka the attorney in the class) if she would write up a contract for them. I don't know if it ever got signed but here is what it said.
CONTRACT
Michaela & Falson....
1. You both will keep your relationship until this contract is ripped when you both agree. You and only you can sign to rip it. Not your wingman or lawyer or anyone else but you. (Wingman? What in the world?)
2a. Your lawyer, your wingman or anyone else is not any part of this contract except for your lawyer only when he is defending you. (Wingman? What in the world?) (And how did that sentence make any sense? I hope she did better on the TAKS)
2b. You shall have no bad arguments and you will be nice to each other.
3. Only the real contract can be ripped not a copied one.

Oath: I solumnly swear to stay with ______ until this contract is ripped.
I think Calli was licensed by a fly by night internet law school and she should probably ask for her money back. I asked Calli what a wingman was and she didn't have a good answer (another sign of that good education). I looked it up in the dictionary and it wasn't in there. I always thought a wingman had something to do with the air force but I didn't get a law degree, not even one from a fly by night place, so what do I know. Regardless, it gave me a good laugh.
