I'm sure you realize that I took lots of pictures on our trip this week, 345 to be exact, but only a select few made the blog (I can hear the thank you's now). These are a few leftovers that brought a smile to my face when I saw them for whatever reason and I thought I'd share them with you.
We loved to take the stroller with us on whatever adventure we were having for the day but not to tote kids around....to tote our stuff around. Rarely was there a kid in this stroller. If you can't tell, the bottom is loaded down too.
And no, this one didn't bring a smile to my face because of the longhorn sign. Colson was very sweet in letting bystanders WATCH him put together his ship. He wanted no help from the peanut gallery. Everyone would gather round, including little Sarah Jane and just watch as the mastermind assembled.
This picture cracks me up because Colson DID NOT like Frankenstein and he came up to Colson twice. At this encounter Colson had one of those big round lollipops and Frankenstein was trying to get a lick. I wish I was in the front to take this picture to see his face.
This is what Colson's face looked like for about 2 hours this day as he was eating his sucker.
I just love this picture with Julia and her goggles. And I love the kid in the background who thinks I'm asking him to smile for me.
For the Desparate Housewives fans, the girl on the porch is the narrator...I'm don't watch the show so I don't know her name. We took a trip down Wisteria Lane on our Universal Bus Tour. Apparantly they were filming earlier that day and some of the cast was there. One of the guys from the show stopped our tour guides tour bus on the tour before ours and talked to everyone.
I love these big lips and Calli's sassy pose. The lips would periodically squirt out water so you had to be careful. This was also at Universal.
I think this picture of Sarah Jane Sassy Pants is so cute. She definately lives up to her nickname Sassy Pants and she's adorable. Colson really liked Sarah and babied her whenever she was around.
I love this picture of Hilary and Rome. They had fallen asleep on the couch as we were all hanging out in their sitting area. I realized they were asleep when I was talking to them and they weren't responding. I guess I put them to sleep :)
Every morning at sunrise and every night at sunset, the base adross from Hilary's house played Taps as they put up and took down the flag. We heard it inside the house a couple of times and the girls quickly told Calli and Colson what to do. This night we were outside unloading the car when it started playing. These three stood at attention while I snapped their picture. Notice their hands are wrong but it's the thought that counts.
If you can't tell in this picture, Julia poured two handfuls of sand on the top of her head. Not sure what was so fun about that but I laughed...I don't think Hilary did.
