What a terrific Easter Sunday we had. What a terrific day to celebrate the living Savior who saved a wretch like me! No matter what else happened that day, I hope you had joy for that reason alone. The little Schubert's enjoyed an nice lunch with some friends from church....a nice Asian Bistro is a good traditional Easter lunch isn't it? And then we enjoyed the evening with our families as everyone gathered at my house for some good food and a relaxing evening.
My mom was so excited about the resurrection that she felt the need to rope some steers.....or maybe it was roping the dummy....or maybe it was the ceiling fan. Gotta love her for not being scared to try! She kind of quit before she started though when she found out you are supposed to rope a REAL steer and do it while riding a horse. WHAT?!?! Who knew?!?!
And of course what is Easter without an Easter egg hunt.
At first Hudson was more into putting the eggs in his basket and then dumping them over onto the ground. But after a while he got the hang of it. But of course got bored easily and just went to riding the rip razer.
Our evening also had a little swimming and baseball in it. I love this picture of Colson and Hudson. Can you feel the mutual love and admiration through your screen?
